SF Dog Connect specializes in behavior modification.
We have solved every type of behavior issue imaginable. We will explain what is happening in your dog’s mind to cause problem behaviors and then help you change your routine and habits and improve communication with your dog. Once we’ve connected the dots with you, our practical methods and your patience and practice will ensure your dog remains happy and healthy.
Here is a list of the most common behavior issues we work on:
We can help you with dog on dog aggression, people aggression, child aggression and object aggression.

Is your dog fearful and shy? Is her tail always tucked? Do you feel like you have an unhappy soul and/or ticking time bomb on your hands? Click here to understand
Does your dog protect his food? Have you tried to take his bone away and he growled or bit you? Does he attack other dogs that go for his ball? Click here to understand
Does your dog get anxious when left alone? Does he bark, destroy things, or try to escape? Click here to understand
Reaction to objects (bikes, motorcylces, noises, etc.)
Have you ever been shocked by your dog’s reaction to an object? Has he lunged or barked at a bike whizzing by, or started shaking when he heard a noise? Click here to understand
Multiple dog households
Do your dogs not always get along? Do they fight for your attention or get in tussles over food or bones? Do they team up on other dogs on walks?
Barking
Barking is just a way your dog is trying to communicate with you. But you should be able to tell him how much communication you need.
Jumping
Your dog shouldn’t jump on you, other people, or dogs she doesn’t know well. It’s just not good manners, and it definitely isn’t safe.
Pulling
Dogs pull because they think it will get them there faster. But it’s really bad for their necks and windpipes – and for your back! You shouldn’t have to use equipment such as “gentle leaders”, harnesses, etc. A flat collar and a leash should be all you need.
Nervousness and hyperactivity
All animals are calm by nature. Think of cows or deer grazing & lounging in fields. If your dog isn’t relaxed, he isn’t as content & happy as he could be. Let us help get him – and you – back into balance.
Whatever your issue is, we can help! 415-662-3640 info@sf-dog-connect.com
“I have this dog named Marley, and it is a kind of love I had never known. I have a hard time believing Marley did not come from my body. I know that sounds insane, but I feel that connected to her. She made me realize I wanted to adopt children.” -Edie Falco
